At Johnson’s® Baby, we know that parents and caregivers often become more concerned about the environment once they have a baby, so we’re making it easier for families to make more sustainable choices.
The launch of Johnson’s® Baby refills range is a milestone moment on our sustainability journey. As part of our Healthy Lives Mission — a 10-year ambition to advance human health while also protecting our planet — this innovation helps encourage and support the adoption of refills by using recyclable paper-based1 cartons that contain 90% less plastic2 than existing Johnson’s® Baby wash and shampoo bottles.
Healthy babies rely on a healthy planet and, as such, we aspire to give them the best possible start in life. This drives every choice we make when developing our baby care products, bringing together the best of science and sustainable packaging solutions to create a planet where everyone can grow and thrive.
In fact, the new refills range is just the latest eco-friendly and sustainable packaging innovation; Johnson’s® Baby started transitioning from pumps to caps on Johnson’s® lotions and washes in 2020, removing 30 million pumps from packaging and keeping impossible-to-recycle waste out of landfill sites around the world. The liquid cleansers and lotions are also paraben-free, phthalate-free, sulfate-free and dye-free, while our formulas are designed and rigorously tested to ensure they are non-toxic, not harmful to aquatic life and ecosystems and, when possible, biodegradable.3
Our work doesn’t stop there. Kenvue is committed to our Healthy Lives Mission, recognizing our unique responsibility as a healthcare company to protect the health of the planet and its people.
